MEET THE TEAM

Sophie Scott is the Legislative Aide and Research Assistant at The Reserve Component, where she supports legislative research and outreach efforts for clients. She previously served as a Government Affairs Coordinator at TRC, managing stakeholder engagement and policy tracking.

Sophie has experience in local politics in the Bay Area and gained legal experience through an internship with the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. She is a recent magna cum laude graduate of American University, where she earned a degree in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies. Originally from Mountain View, California, she now lives in Washington, D.C.
