MEET THE TEAM

Alexa Forbes is a Government Affairs Coordinator at The Reserve Component, where she focuses on drafting legislative updates and coordinating outreach for clients. She is currently a junior at the University of Maryland, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in government and politics, looking to pursue a career in law.

Previously, she worked as a clerk at the Stamford Superior Court, which provided her with a legal background. In this role, she supported daily court operations in family and civil matters, including reviewing case dockets, organizing case files and exhibits, opening court, and directly assisting judges with decisions.

Originally from Connecticut, Alexa chose the University of Maryland for its proximity to the D.C. area, which led her to support the policy work done by The Reserve Component for its clients.
