MEET THE TEAM

Jake Fales is an experienced policy advocate and advisor, bringing over three years of experience in government affairs, legislative analysis, communications, and constituent engagement to TRC. As a Government Affairs Coordinator, Jake leads stakeholder outreach on key policy priorities, builds coalitions, and works with legislators and organizations across the country to bring our clients’ priorities across the finish line.

Jake previously served as a Defense Fellow and later as a Senior Policy Fellow for Veterans’ Affairs at the Reserve Organization of America (ROA). In this role, he led much of ROA’s Veterans’ Affairs policy portfolio. Jake has written congressional testimony, organized a national fly-in, and developed strategic engagement plans advancing ROA’s legislative priorities.

Jake graduated cum laude from American University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG), and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration.

Jake, a proud native of Smithfield, Virginia, moved to Washington, DC, in 2022.
