Mackenzie Campbell
LEGISLATIVE ASSISTANT AND OPERATIONS MANAGER, THE RESERVE COMPONENT
Mackenzie Campbell’s path to federal advocacy began with a year-long internship at a lobbying firm in 2022, where she discovered her passion for fostering bipartisan solutions on Capitol Hill. In that role, she led stakeholder outreach efforts to build nationwide support for a range of legislative initiatives. At TRC, Mackenzie plays a key role in supporting clients by managing outreach efforts, scheduling meetings, conducting legislative research, and overseeing interns.
Prior to joining TRC, Mackenzie gained valuable experience as a student assistant at American University’s Development Office, where she supported donor outreach and stewardship efforts. Her responsibilities included managing donor recognition initiatives, maintaining databases, and conducting research to enhance the university’s fundraising efforts.
Mackenzie graduated summa cum laude from American University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG), along with minors in Anthropology and Public Health.
A native of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Mackenzie moved to Washington, D.C. in 2021.
