MEET THE TEAM

Carrie McGuinness’s journey into public policy began with a Press internship with Rep. Frederica Wilson. She has experience in media strategy, digital outreach, and public affairs, which she utilizes in her role. She is interested in the intersection of race in public health, veterans’ affairs, and education policy. She previously interned with Rep. Jamie Raskin.

Carrie is a sophomore at the George Washington University, double majoring in History and Political Science. Additionally, she has minors in Public Health and German while also writing for the GW Hatchet.

A native of New York, Carrie moved to Washington, D.C. in 2023.
